ABOUT THE OWNER
Models Plus International, LLC with
The Young Agency was founded in 1996 by Pamela A. Young who serves as
President. Ms. Young, a former Model and successful Phoenix businesswomen
for over 30 years, was an established Model and actress in Phoenix,
Chicago, and Los Angeles where she graced the pages of print ads, runways,
and fashion shoots. In addition, she acted in numerous commercials,
films, and television shows. She also received several honors
for her exemplary work in the industry such as:
- Recognized as “Women of
the Year 2005” by the American Biographical institute, USA
- In 2006, Models Plus International/The
Young Agency made the “Book of List” as one of the top 50 minority
owned businesses in the state of Arizona
- Management and marketing
leader for community outreach projects for over 600 firms including
Annual Holiday Charity Gala/Models Plus International and ACE
- Awarded the “The Enterprising
Woman of the Year” award in 1999
- Served as a mentor for the
ACE Entrepreneurs program at South Mountain Community College
- Nomination for the Phoenix
Athena Service Award in 1999 and received The Outstanding African-American
Woman of the Year
- Successful Entrepreneur by
the Phoenix Small Business Association (SBA)
- Served on the board of: Arizona
Women in Film, Greater Phoenix Black Chamber of Commerce, and the Women’s
Advisory Network for CPAC
Ms. Young was also selected for the 2004 - 2005 Heritage Registry of
Who's Who, which is a biographical registry that selects individuals
throughout North America for inclusion due to their business success,
community service or philanthropic work.
The Young Agency hosts several fundraisers
and charity events for the community which include: Lit’l Shelters,
Aid to Adoption for Special kids, Toys for Tots, and The West Valley
Crisis Center, just to name a few.
